Discount Rewards

(1) 7-day Rental - Any good standing customer that rents a vehicle for up to 7 days at a time will receive 25 points toward their points balance and receive $5 off the rental total each day of the rental. That adds up to a $35.00 savings for a 1 week rental. Applies toward the 30-day and 60-day rental points. 

14-days Rental - Any good standing customer that rents a vehicle for a total of 14 days via 2 day to 6 day extensions or returning customers (includes any vehicle transfers and extensions consecutive within the rental period) will receive 50 points toward their total point tally and receive a $15 discount on the next new rental or extension payment.

*Applies toward the 30-day and 60-day rental points. Any (1) 7-day rentals are excluded from this reward. 

30-days Rental - Any good standing customer that rents any vehicle for a total of 30 days (includes returning customers, rental extensions and vehicle transfers) will receive 100 points and $30 off of their next rental or extension. *Applies toward the 60-day rental points. 

60-days Rental - Any good standing customer that rents any vehicle for a total of 60 days (includes returning customers, rental extensions and vehicle transfers) will receive 200 points and 1-day free with a 2+ day rental or extension.

What is a customer in good standing?

Customers that rent a vehicle with CARS are expected to follow the terms, conditions and acknowledgements that are signed and agreed upon at the start of every new Vehicle Rental Agreement. Terms and conditions are also posted to the website for quick and easy review. Customers who do not meet the terms and conditions are not in good standing.

 

Situations where customers are NOT in good standing include:

  • lack of communication with CARS regarding payment status or  delays, vehicle return status, vehicle concerns or damages

  • not making complete and/or on-time extension payments for 2+ days rental and this occurs more than five (5) times

  • deposit balance is charged and below minimum for more than seven (7) days

  • being disrespectful to CARS associates or property

  • not bringing the vehicle to the office when requested

  • intentional disregard to vehicle care rules such as tire pressure, gas level, oil checks, speeding (80+), smoking or pets

  • not providing the required third-party insurance when required

  • providing dishonest information or intentional disregard to update rental agreement details such as adding a driver, long distance travel or current/local address details

Any of these situations could ban customers from the CARS Loyalty Program. CARS Customers may be given opportunities to return in good standing and be allowed to earn points starting from zero.
